Rules and Regulations
All dogs must be on a leash attached to a securely fitting collar. Dogs must
have a "regular" collar of leather or nylon in addition to any chain or training
collar. All dog collars must have current identification attached. Please walk
your dog prior to bringing him/her to daycare (this helps to keep our facility
as clean as possible).
Lunch Feeding:
Puppies up
to 8 months of age that are on a 3 times a day feeding will be fed only .
Please feed your dog before coming to daycare. Please allow at least 30-45
minutes for the food to digest before they begin playing.
Application Process:
The application forms
must be completely filled out and submitted at the time of evaluation. Please
call to schedule an evaluation with your pet. All vaccination and alteration
records must be kept up to date at all times. Please bring your vaccination
records on the evaluation day. The initial enrollment fee is free but if you
stop coming to daycare for more than 30 days and decide to come back there is a
re-enrollment fee of $25.00. Your dog must be re-evaluated.
Reservations:
Reservations are
required for all daycare puppies and dogs. We require a minimum of 2 days per
week. Scheduling your days of the week and length of package is required.
Being on a schedule assures you a space for your dog on those days. If your
dog will not be attending on a scheduled day, we need a minimum of 12 hours
notice. No call, no show will result in being charged for the day. Sorry No
exceptions and No refunds. If you need to bring your dog on a non-scheduled day
please call to see if there is room available.
Age:
Pups over 16 weeks who
have had all their vaccinations are welcome. All dogs over 8 months of age must
be spayed or neutered.
Vaccinations:
All vaccinations
and updates are the responsibility of each dog owner. All dogs must have up to
date vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper (DHLPP) and Bordetella (kennel
cough). The Bordetella must be up to date and renewed every 6 months. Written
proof of vaccinations and all updates is required. All dogs must be on a year
round heartworm and flea & tick control prevention. We require that you hand in
your empty flea and tick control packages monthly from March – November.
General Health:
All dogs
must be in good health; owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and
have not been ill with a communicable disease within the last 30 days. Upon
enrollment and re-admission all dogs must be free from any condition that could
potentially jeopardize the health and safety of other dogs. No dog will be
allowed to attend daycare with visible stitches or bandages.
Behavior:
Dogs in daycare must
not exhibit any aggressive behavior for any reason. Any dog exhibiting such
behavior will be safely isolated from the rest of the daycare and will not be
allowed re-admission until such behavior has been modified. We reserve the
right to exclude dogs from daycare that pose a potential risk to the safety of
our dogs and staff or if your dog is unhappy in our pack.
